After completing a Master of Science in Ecology from the University of Georgia, Cody worked at the University of Florida Honey Bee Research and Extension Laboratory and gained skills in honey bee husbandry and research. To date, he has published over a dozen peer reviewed research papers on honey bee toxicology, nutrition, and pests and diseases.
